"The Wish" oil on linen by Lori Earley |
This artist was introduced to me accidently by my friend Michelle Izzard - I saw she had followed her on twitter and I had to check her out! I was amazed by the incredible detail, imaginative proportions, and the fantastic color this artist had. And the best part is: shes a traditional artist.
Doesnt get better than that!!

close up of "Regret" oil on board by Lori Earley |
Just have a glimpse of some of her paintings up close - the skin, the eyes, the lips are all immaculate but with such a cool spin to it. She plays amazingly with lighting, creating dynamic pieces anyone could easily say "Yes, now thats how painting should be."

"Leila" oil on board by Lori Earley |
Lori is a professional traditional oil painter who was born in New York. She describes her work as a
"fusion of personal experiences and influences- moody atmospheres, victorian-inspired couture, and timeless elements all laced with clandestine symbolism."
She paints on wood boards or on Italian imported linen canvases and says her paintings can take anywhere from a month to 6 months to complete! Very amazing dedication I say!
